Cache L.A. is a show consisting of artists based in L.A. who use digital technology to divulge hidden processes, identities, biology and cultural symbols. As content gets uploaded, coded and printed back out, these artists allow the process to inform and influence the outcome. They also explore the space between the physical and virtual through different material methods. Whether it is lathering the digital content onto a canvas or integrating an electronic device into a sculpture. The artists in Cache L.A. embrace this and make it apparent through digital prints, painting, sculpture and virtual reality installations.

Cache is an area in the hardware or software of a computer that stores information. It has a small capacity, but operates at a high speed allowing data to be accessed and viewed quickly; acting like an extra memory bank for us to consume more content at a faster pace. Cache is also a term used to describe a physical storage space for supplies or special objects. Mintmoue gallery embodies these concepts by acting as a new space that exhibits emerging contemporary artists within the Los Angeles region and giving them an access point to the surrounding community.
