A Figurative Art Show. Paintings and works on paper by artists Jared Hendler & Lorien Haynes.

Jared portrays the effects that technology and social media culture have on our society. In homage of traditional portraiture his work documents our obsession with creating our own identities and personal brand building online. The emergence of a ‘new’ celebrity for a new era. A representation of our times and reflection of who we are now.

Lórien combines a traditional figurative aesthetic with a sculpted, three-dimensional quality and this is built up over separate sheets, visibly taped. Tactile and visceral, her charcoals have been exhibited in London at The Haymarket, bought by The Saatchi Gallery and she now has an international client base that ranges from corporate to celebrity.
