The Yard House
800 W Olympic Blvd, A-115, Los Angeles CA 90015

StandardVision will host a one-night only event, presenting a night of digital art programming that features scheduled blocks of original and curated art content to be displayed on the SVLA1 LED Screen on the Façade of the Courtyard by Marriott L.A. Live:

SV Presents: Award-winning photographer and filmmaker Morgan Maassen presents his latest vignette, “Tahiti.” Ushering viewers into an ethereal underwater world, the piece poetically fluctuates between moments of coming up for air and plunging back again into the mysterious realms beneath the ocean surface. Morgan’s short film will play at the top of every hour through November 4, 2017.

SV Showcase: This month, StandardVision has curated a selection of artists and filmmakers who are utilizing drone videography to show a dramatic range of nuanced views of our changing cultural and physical geography. “New Topographies” brings together Renee Lusano, Mike Bishop, and Ian Wood in landscapes that range from downtown Los Angeles to the Swiss Alps to Australia and beyond. The showcase will be on view through November 8, playing every 15 minutes from 9pm-12am Thursday-Sunday

Artist Takeover: Ryan Staley (@powercorruptionandlikes) captures poignant portraits on the streets of downtown Los Angeles. His unique perspectives on quotidian events and images are surrounded by an air of mystery, skewing our notions of scale as he captures the seemingly familiar in beautifully unexpected ways. You can see Ryan’s work through September 10 playing at the top of every hour.
