Once upon a time, album covers helped influence our decisions on which records to buy, and sometimes the album jacket was more interesting than the music inside. Jason Ostro, Gabba Gallery owner, artist, and record collector has curated “Cratedigger Vol. 2” his second annual homage to album cover artwork. Over 90 artists contributed 12×12 inch works of art inspired by real or imagined bands and albums. Show opening is on August 12th 7-11pm. DJ Jonathan Williams spinning. The event is free and open to the public. No RSVP required. Free parking at 3000 Beverly Blvd (enter off Reno). Sponsored by Original New York Seltzer. Gabba Gallery is located at 3126 Beverly Blvd. The show will be on view through August 26. Gallery hours are Weds-Sat 12-3pm and by appointment.
