Painter and filmmaker Julian Schnabel is returning to Arne Glimcher’s Pace after 13 years with the Gagosian Gallery. Pace had repped Schnabel from 1984 to 2003.

Schnabel said  “I wanted to have a more human relationship with the person . . . representing my work.” Gagosian countered that it “never formally” repped Schnabel and wished him luck.
