The Art Students League is hosting a free afternoon program with instructor Yasumitsu Morito in conversation about his new book: A Holistic Approach to Ceramic Sculpture. The program will take place on Thursday, March 16 from 12-1pm, at Phyllis Harriman Mason Gallery (215 W 57 Street, 2nd Floor).
In this book talk, Morito will delve into some of the core themes in A Holistic Approach to Ceramic Sculpture, sharing his own ceramic work, and his insight on this multifaceted medium and practice.
In this discussion, visitors will learn about the ideas of ceramics and sculpture in which students and professional artists can find solutions and inspiration. The talk will conclude with a book sale and signing.
