House of CoHit presents Underlying Current, a group exhibition curated by Eli Consilvio. Featuring Gregory Siff, Samuel Bayer, Richard Nam, and Negar Zonoobi, the exhibition opens September 19 and runs through October 24, 2025 in the Hollywood Hills.
Underlying Current explores the unseen forces shaping our collective mood in a time of turbulence and renewal. Through painting, photography, sculpture, and mixed media, the artists examine the push and pull between fragmentation and connection, fear and optimism. Siff’s layered visual diaries combine abstraction, text, and pop iconography; Bayer’s cinematic works anchor the show with raw, emotional weight; Nam brings humor and nostalgia through ceramics and paintings; and Zonoobi interlaces personal and cultural histories in her layered compositions.
Together, their practices guide visitors through intensity and stillness, turbulence and reflection—inviting audiences to consider which currents carry them forward and which they resist.
