TZ ‘s “Geometrie di Luce”: a collateral event of Fuori Salone, a series of ancillary events held outside Milan’s Salone del Mobile, the exhibition of international artist and light designer TZ, “Geometrie di Luce”, will be hosted at the innovative restaurant / bar Café Popolare. The not to be missed event, the inauguration of Geometrie di Luce on April 18th – from 6pm to 9pm, will feature TZ’s latest light sculptures, designed in the last four years. Unusual, fun and of high visual impact, the artist’s luminous sculptures will enchant anyone who will stop by Café Popolare from April 18th to 22nd. A clever mixtures of art, sculpture and light, TZ’s luminous stele are based on the artist’s kinetic drawings. TZ’s one of a kind light sculptures are hand-engraved on sheets of the highest quality plexiglass and illuminated by lights LED of different color. Even the bases of the lamps, in papier-mâché or lacquered wood, are created by the artist to generate a continuum between the movement of the kinetic design of the stelae and the dynamism of the optical pedestal. The result is a composition that enchants and seduces with its glow, softly illuminating the space and creating a contemplative and dreamlike atmosphere. All TZ’s light sculptures are unique works signed by the artist.
