6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

DAC Gallery
431 S Broadway, Los Angeles California 90013

The Downtown Art Center (DAC) Gallery is pleased to present Tony Brown + Paul Greeley: It Belongs
To His, an exhibition of new works on paper by two artists whose visual arts practices span a combined
eight decades.

The works on view will provide a small, intimate glimpse into the vast yet discrete practices of Brown
and Greeley. Their seemingly disparate bodies of work echo a commitment to exploring a continuum of
expressive gestures, and experimentation with the visual vocabulary of both high and low culture. As a
collection, the paintings, drawings, and prints in this exhibition present viewers with a remix of signifiers
of history, advertisement, familial structures, and identity.

Both artists have been honing their craft and creating their own aesthetic universe for decades at the ECF
Art Centers, a program that mentors and provides studio space for artists with developmental disabilities.
Brown and Greeley’s work are emblematic of the breadth of creativity that ECF Art Centers has
facilitated during its 50 year history.

Details: Free to attend; light refreshments served; parking available at meters and pay lots (see posted
signs for details). Please note that DAC Gallery does not validate parking.
