This conversation brings together artists and writers whose work is rooted in personal history, resistance, activism and futurity. Through their respective practices in photography, literature, and critical theory, they draw from both their Armenian diasporic histories and current global contemporary struggles to challenge narratives and create space for reflection and action.
Participants include professor of technology and social justice Mashinka Firunts Hakopian, author Nancy Kricorian, and multidisciplinary artist and curator Ara Oshagan. The talk is moderated by Joanne Nucho, a filmmaker and anthropologist at USC.
