The Middle Room is pleased to present The Middle Becomes Eclectic, a large-scale exhibition within an intimate space—of fifty Los Angeles artists. The show’s title is a play on the iconic KCRW alternative radio program that began almost fifty years ago in LA. The small works in this exhibit span a wide range of media and styles, made-in-LA, by diverse artists at various career levels—curated together, salon-style, and priced at $500 and under. This exciting and off-beat exhibition, that celebrates and supports our vibrant LA art community, will be on view from November 15-December 29, 2024.
THE MIDDLE BECOMES ECLECTIC is an expansive fifty-artist show featuring widely diverse small works—and offers a unique opportunity to view and acquire accessible artwork from emerging to mid-career, to established contemporary LA artists.
Organized by The Middle Room Founder/Director, Shannon Rae Fincke, on the occasion of her fiftieth birthday— and in the spirit of community-building, accessible art collecting, and gift-giving during the holiday season—the small works in this exhibition reflect the current landscape of art being made in LA, representing fifty diverse artists coming together…in the middle.
