In conjunction with OBSIDIAN LADDER, Donna Huanca has produced a series of limited-edition artworks and merchandise that can be purchased at the MAF Bookstore and online. These items include a limited-edition perfume designed after the scent in the exhibition and individually packaged by the artist, uniquely painted prints, and a versatile unisex garment based on her paintings. 100% percent of the proceeds from the sale of these items will be donated to three Los Angeles-based nonprofits: the Trans Wellness Center, REACH LA, and the East Los Angeles Women’s Center.
Join MAF to learn more about these three organizations and how they are serving their communities in Los Angeles. Each nonprofit will speak to their mission, as well as share the programs and services offered at their locations. Olivia Marciano will also lead a Q and A discussing the importance of the safe spaces provided by REACH LA, East Los Angeles Women’s Center and Trans Wellness Center and how the arts community can work to support and collaborate with these groups.
