The definitions of sensuality and sexuality vary from culture to culture and from person to person. Questions of the nature of attraction, whether chemical or emotional, open a door to the inspection of our daily interactions. Although this is only a fraction of the human experience, it engrosses so much of our daily lives and thought processes. The exploration and evolution of our understanding of sensual or sexual experience provides insight into the nature of human interaction.
The works on display are an examination by each artist of sensuality and sexuality. The exhibition is an exploration of the many facets of sensation and the intensity of animal impulse, compelling the audience to engage in a conversation about what sexuality and sensuality mean for the individual experience.
