Written and directed by photographer David LaChappelle, the vibrant documentary Rize examines Clowning and Krumping, dance forms that emerged in Los Angeles around the time of the 1992 uprising.

Part of the series Freestyle: Global Hip-Hop Dance on Film. Beat the summer heat in the Fowler’s Lenart Auditorium with three feature-length films that showcase contemporary hip-hop and dance from three continents. Free and open to all.
