Ruff, Rugged and Raw celebrates the work of Danny Hastings, B+, and Xiouping, 3 accomplished photographers who through their lens, documented one of the most iconic eras in hip-hop music, the 1990’s. The 90’s was an era of transformation that created an incredible variety of styles and sounds, giving birth to some of the greatest rap albums of all time.
Photographing everyone from The Wu-Tang Clan to Big Pun, the images presented will take you on a trip to a time that not only changed the entire music game, but changed culture, as we know it.
