This collection of work is a gentle dive into the illusory nature of our perception of reality. Influenced by the teachings of Vedic philosophy as well as the experiential glimpses of the ecstatic. The paintings represent an expression of the energy that naturally arises in moments of surrender.
Through playful imagery, Lee gently challenges the very fabric of our perceived reality and embarks on a quest to discover the true essence of being. Inspired by the artist’s own explorations of consciousness, the paintings capture the sense of awe, wonder, and boundless possibility that emerges during moments of deep connection with the universe. Tae Lee Playfully teases our consensus understanding of the nature of self and consciousness through ethereal creatures that seem to shimmer on the verge of existence.
