I recently looked back through the history of my artwork and discovered a common thread. Some artwork had one figure, some had two figures, and some had many clusters of them. All of these pieces seemed to correlate with different moments in my life, and what either I was, or what I was craving. What I’ve discovered is a loneliness to my work, and an excitement. In both cases, the characters inside, who may or may not be myself, seem to be making some sort of plea to the viewer. Will you join in? Or am I, on this sheet of paper, alone?
