The Venice Institute of Contemporary Art ViCA and Muzeumm present a unique fine art photography exhibition Out In The Street, which focuses on a nearly 200 year tradition in art, with new artists selected including the renowned Edmund Teske, Ted Soqui, Ave Pildas, and Osceola Refetoff. Out In The Street will present mages created with a camera that address urban challenges and solutions in terms of social issues, justice, political protest, demonstrations, geographical, and/or philisophically creative ways of seeing what’s out in the street or out of doors – from around the world.
Curated by Director of ViCA Juri Koll, the exhibition opens with an artists reception on September 21 from 7:30 – 10pm, and continues through October 21, 2018 at Muzeumm in Los Angeles, a pre-eminent exhibition space located at 4817 W. Adams Blvd., Los Angeles, California 90016, in the burgeoning West Adams District.
Following the exhibition, a catalog will be published, for purchase in soft cover for $20, followed by a free version available online,
