Opening in our Annex Gallery & Red Floor Gallery is VEINTE, a collection of paintings & mixed media works by artist, Sandra Vista, made between 1999-2019.
Vista has exhibited nationally and internationally in Baltonfured and Budapest, Hungary (1997 & 1998, where she was also an artist-in-residence), at the Organizations of Independent Artists in New York (1998 & 2002), The National Museum of Mexican Art in Chicago (Women of Juarez Exhibition 2009) & at the Conrad Wilde Gallery in Tucson, Arizona (2013).
In addition to her studio practice, Vista works as a guest curator. Her curatorial practice includes group exhibitions at I-5 Gallery in Los Angeles and Arena 1 Gallery in Santa Monica, CA where both exhibitions focused on artists who work in mixed media and address labor intensive production.
Writing reviews, criticism & conducting artist interviews are also part of Vista’s current practice. She has written for notable online magazines such as Whitehot Magazine and her own blog, One Hundred Percent Rag.
