Matter Studio Gallery is honored to present, ‘Freedom Matters’ a solo exhibition consisting of Paintings, mixed media and Collage works by artist Joan Scheibel.
In her recent works, Scheibel uses many personal symbols as she
playfully and poignantly explores light, texture, memory and personal mantras that reflect and inform her experience. Each mark added
intuitively and reflectively, as she brings out a seductiveness and
ephemeralness that draws the viewers in and leaves them wanting more.
