Upstairs: Co-curated by Gloria Gem Sanchez and Jynx Prado, We Run Things, Things Don’t Run We pays homage to the de facto art school and artist-run space, Slanguage Studio, started in 2002 by artists Mario Ybarra Jr. and Karla Diaz in Wilmington, California. This 20 artist group exhibition is an oeuvre of many generations that have contributed to the history, community-centric values, conscious intent/content, and intergenerational, alternative learning space of Slanguage Studio.

Artists At Work is a culminating exhibition that recognizes the community engagement work of Artist Taylor Griffith, in partnership with AltaSea at the Port of Los Angeles, and Poet Nancy Lynée Woo, in partnership with SBCC, Strength Based Community Change. During their 2022 residency, the Griffith and Woo led community programming while focusing on their professional creative practices, sponsored by the Artists At Work program in Los Angeles County. Artists At Work is a workforce resilience program designed to support the rebuilding of healthy communities through artistic civic engagement.
