Online and in person Open Studio featuring paintings produced during a one-month residency at the 18th St. Arts Center in Santa Monica. These paintings deal with the fraught relationship between trees, in this case palm trees, and the encroachment of buildings into natural spaces. Also on view is a series of paintings showing people on the beach in Northern California, where the artist lives.
