Monte Vista Projects is pleased to present Augmented Visions, a solo exhibition by Molly Champlin, curated by Jackie Farkas. Through abstract painting, Champlin explores the intersection of the physical and virtual, engaging with and critiquing the technologies that shape contemporary life. Referencing AI, social media, the iPhone, and the internet, her work reflects on how these rapid shifts reshape our experience of landscapes, time, and humanity. Augmented Visions highlights the ways technological tools both expand creative possibility and operate as extractive frontiers, questioning their impact on culture, ecology, and perception.
