Feminist.AI presents MODIFY THE LOSS, a solo exhibition by LA-based artist and experimental writer Sarah Ciston. Featuring new and ongoing works from a bot that explains feminism to online misogynists, to an interactive audio sculpture that uses AI to encourage self-compassion, each piece in MODIFY THE LOSS acts as queer feminist tactical media to amplify the absurd and tender aspects of our entangled encounters with technology and each other.

Together these works ask: What are alternative modes of embodied, restorative processing—processing of code, processing of trauma? How do we write, re-write, iterate over, and collaborate on the codes and stories we carry with us?

Throughout the show, which runs Nov 16–Dec 14, Ciston uses the gallery as a collaborative research lab to further develop the artworks, perform in the space, and respond with audiences in recursive feedback loops.
