Join us at the OXY ARTS gallery from 5:30-7:00 pm on July 25th for a free Dance and Somatic Healing workshop/drop-in session facilitated by T Moreta and inspired by the themes in our current exhibition.
T will be focusing on dance and somatic movement as a means to liberate the body. Please come prepared to move.
for the sake of dancing in the street is a group exhibition that celebrates the interconnectedness of feminist and queer resistance, highlighting movement as a liberatory practice in the collective struggle for justice and bodily autonomy. Featured artists include LASTESIS, Morehshin Allahyari, and Yasmine Nasser Diaz.
Making Space is a community space for all artists, dreamers, and gallery goers to have the opportunity to create and be inspired amongst others. Come with an open heart and leave with lots of art!
