LAXART is pleased to present Lives of the Performers, the in-progress, debut play by writer and critic Hilton Als. Still developing through a series of workshops, Lives of the Performers is an experimental narrative examining race, sisterhood, the self, and the forces that threaten to destroy it. The is the first time the play will be workshopped and presented—in its in-progress form—on the West Coast.
This month’s workshop at LAXART is presented through a partnership with The Huntington Library, Art Museum, and Botanical Gardens.
