L.A. Louver cordially invites you to join us for a live virtual conversation and exhibition tour on Thursday, June 18, 2pm (PT) / 5pm (ET), with Tom Wudl and Elissa Auther, Deputy Director of Curatorial Affairs and Chief Curator at the Museum of Arts and Design, NY.
The pair will discuss Wudl’s current solo show “The Flowerbank World,”which features an ongoing series of painstakingly detailed paintings, drawings and prints made in response to the evocative and profound literary descriptions in the Avatamsaka Sutra (Flower Ornament Scripture), a revered Buddhist teaching considered to be one of earliest discourses by the Buddha.
Following the conversation, the artist will tour attendees through his exhibition, and will be available to answer questions during the live Q&A.
