Marie Baldwin Gallery invites you to the opening of the exhibition letter&line, a solo presentation of renowned artist Peter Greco on April 14th from 5pm to 9pm. Peter shows that expressive lettering is an art form, and has been one of the primary visual instruments of personal and cultural identity. His murals and paintings combine tribal arts, sacred imagery and hidden symbols and abstractions; they all challenge our preconceived notions of human communication. In his work, the line between literal meaning and the abstract form merge together. The opening will feature a live demonstration by Peter.



letter&line is in conjunction with the release of The Insider’s Guide to Downtown LA, 2018 Edition, for which Peter Greco has done the cover design and select illustrations.
