Open Studios at Lacy Lofts: Celebrating LA’s Thriving Artist Community
Saturday, November 11th, 3-7 pm
Los Angeles, CA – On Saturday, November 11th, from 3-7 pm PST, the Lacy Lofts will host their first Open Studios event. This unique event offers the public a rare opportunity to explore the creative and thriving artist community of Los Angeles.
Located in the Lincoln Heights neighborhood of North East LA, the Lacy Lofts are a series of industrial spaces converted into modern lofts. The property spans over two acres and is home to over 15 different artists and entrepreneurs who create through an array of practices.
Visitors to the Open Studios event will be able to explore a wide variety of unique mediums, including puppetry, lighting design, queer art, photography, installation work, taxidermy, camera robotics, painting, fashion, and tarot. There will be art available to buy, performances to see, and chill spaces and common areas to relax and take in the creativity of the community. In addition, food will be available for purchase from Soul Food Gyros.
“We would like to invite our communities and beyond to peek into our world,” said Jordan Service of Lacy Lofts. “The Lacy Lofts are like a hidden oasis, and we are thrilled to share our creative community with the public.”
The Open Studios event will run for four hours; tickets are free but required. All are welcome to attend and experience the vibrant and diverse artist community of Los Angeles.
