Abigail Ogilvy Gallery is pleased to announce our solo exhibition, Kwee Den Seh, by Katrina Sánchez, opening September 13 5-8PM. Derived from the Spanish phrase Cuidense (“take care” or “take care of yourselves”), Kwee Den Seh reflects Sanchez’s ongoing exploration of self-soothing, mutual care, and the radical potential of tenderness. Through fiber based works, ranging from patterned knits created on a vintage punchcards machine to expansive, vibrantly textured woven panels, Sanchez cultivates an immersive environment where softness becomes a mode of resilience.
