A new film “Jack Rogers Hopkins: California Design Maverick” will be screened at the Claremont Lewis Museum of Art at 6 p.m. on Thursday, April 11. The 30-minute documentary film about the Modernist sculptor will be shown in the Calaycay Gallery followed by a discussion with Director Katie Nartonis and Jim Rawitsch, executive director of the Sam and Alfreda Maloof Foundation for Arts and Crafts. The
free public program is held in conjunction with two concurrent local exhibitions: CLMA’s This is not a chair. in the Claremont Depot and Jack Rogers Hopkins: California Design Maverick in the Jacobs Center of The Maloof Foundation in Alta Loma.
