Helms Design Center is pleased to present Interactions, by Kayla Sweet-Newhouse, a solo exhibition of sculpture and multimedia photomontages, that leap from the wall March 28 – April 11, 2019.
In Interactions Sweet-Newhouse explores the existential tensions between the fragility of life and the hard context in which it is conceived and must survive. Because of daunting odds, ineffable beauty requires courage and determination to prevail today. Lush and delicate porcelain pieces express the defiant spirit necessary to thrive.
