Abigail Ogilvy Gallery is pleased to announce I Was Always Good, Tallulah Dirnfeld’s first solo exhibition with the gallery, opening September 13th 5-8 PM. This exhibition features a series of oil paintings that stage the quiet rituals of control. Faceless, uniformed figures are poised within tightly composed interiors. Made beds, braided hair, glinting chrome. Every surface is cared for, every gesture rehearsed.
Tallulah Dirnfeld is a Los Angeles-based painter known for her emotionally charged, surreal scenes that explore memory, identity, and femininity through the psychological lens.
