The Immersive Art Collective invites you to the dance party of…2012?!
That’s right, indie sleaze is back, which means our DJ will be blasting indie, bloghouse, Brit pop, electropop, and more.
But this is more than a typical L.A. nightclub experience. Amidst the grungy opulence, a dark story will emerge centering around Alice and Roxy – 2012’s hottest “it girls” – and their rollercoaster of a relationship.
Things heat up when live performers and interactive elements turn this dance party into a mesmerizing experience that revolves around the mysterious death of character. Was it an accident? Or was it…murder?
It’s a puzzle that only partygoers can solve.
As the drama unfolds, there’ll be a Tumblr feed of real-time photos from the party that gradually exposes the sordid clues of Alice and Roxy’s connection to the baffling death.
VIP ticket holders will get the celebrity treatment with access to a hidden room that includes a private bar, one-on-one interactions with performers, and a professional photographer for an exclusive photoshoot.
For those who want in on the gossip early, starting May 19th attendees will have access to a private group chat where they can interact with other partygoers, including Alice and Roxy. This hush-hush group chat will showcase the breakdown of their tumultuous friendship as an anonymous Tumblr user starts posting their secrets for all to see. Guests can interact with the actors and hunt for clues that will culminate in the indie sleaze dance party on June 2nd.
Take a trip back to those debauched days of the early-2010s in this one-of-a-kind dance party that combines immersive theater and an alternate reality gaming experience.
