EK Gallery is pleased to present Grace Kim’s first solo exhibition, Where Color Lingers, on view from March 14–23, 2026 in Los Angeles Koreatown.
An opening reception will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, with an artist talk.
Grace Kim graduated from art school in Seoul and later immigrated to the United States. After taking time away from painting while adjusting to life in a new country, she returned to her studio practice and developed a new body of work. This exhibition marks her first solo presentation since relocating.
Where Color Lingers refers to the moments and impressions that remain as color on canvas — inspired by everyday objects, natural scenery, and personal reflections. The exhibition features approximately 50 works, including oil, watercolor, acrylic, pastel, pen, and abstract paintings, demonstrating her range across different mediums and styles.
Kim shares, “After living as an immigrant and stepping away from painting for some time, I was able to reconnect with myself through art. I hope viewers can feel the sense of comfort and positivity that I experienced while working on these pieces.”
