Fun on the floor is figurative and physical.
We mean figurative as metaphorical, not figurative as in figures, although there will be figures, but most pieces of arts will be figure-less. In an effort to be fully transparent you should also know that fun on the floor isn’t just metaphorical, it’s also literal. There’s a lot going on–on the floor (but it’s fun).
Soft.core.la, the artists, the guests, if we do our job properly, will be having fun, and there will be a floor present, that hopefully we will all be standing/sitting/dancing/strolling/posing on.
There will also be some art on said floor, which is at 428 Hewitt St, which is fun.
We have found, and hope you find as well, that it is fun to put art on the floor.
There will also be, fun art on the walls, but fun on the walls is a bit unwieldy.
These are artists who have fun within their practice, expect unexpected, new perspectives, and free beer.
