About Participating Artists:
Teena Apeles is the founder of the creative collective Narrated Objects, which published the coloring book We Heart P-22 and the anthology Dear Seller. The group currently has their Adventures of P-22 board game on exhibit at the Autry Museum of the American West, and they have also hosted special events at LACE: Los Angeles Contemporary Exhibits and the Natural History Museum. Teena is excited to return to the USC Pacific Asia Museum, where she celebrated the release of her book, Women Warriors, years back.

Brittany Ko is an artist and educator who was born, lives and works in Los Angeles. Her work imagines an on-going poem embodied in multifaceted forms repeatedly across time, asking questions regarding synchronicity, longing and psychic wounds. She has spent six years as an artist educator, focusing on middle school students.
She is a co-organizer of amwa, a collective of femme and non-binary pan-Asian art workers that envision art and design as tools to build radical, inclusive spaces of solidarity for pan-Asians and people of color.
