In celebration of Luchita Hurtado’s centennial, which would have been November 28, 2020, ForYourArt presents a nearly two-hour interview between the late artist and Serpentine Galleries Artistic Director Hans Ulrich Obrist. Recorded in Santa Monica on October 19, 2019—the penultimate day of her landmark solo exhibition at the Serpentine Galleries “I Live I Die I Will Be Reborn”—the conversation was the fifth between Hurtado and Obrist since they were introduced in Los Angeles in 2017.
