The Faultline project was started by two ambitious 17 year old artists who were fascinated by the art world. Through visiting shows, they eagerly started a conversation with anyone willing to share some advice, igniting a love for curation. Pinpointing what resonated with them, the two decided to organize an exhibition of their own, presenting artists from 16 – 22 years old from UCLA to Los Angeles County High School for the Arts, creating an encapsulation of young LA art.
The exhibition presents a wide range of both tangible and digital work, such as blender renderings projected onto makeshift walls, and human sized plaster sculptures drenched in acrylic pushpins. The show aims to excite viewers and make them fall in love with art all over again.
