George Billis Gallery is pleased to present the gallery’s third exhibition of encaustic paintings by Los Angeles based artist Eric Hesse. Hesse describes this body of work as “exploring the magic of contradictions,” where the subjects”—walls, water, brick and metal, atmosphere and mountain—”are simultaneously tenuous and formidable.”
