ArtCenter College of Design invites the public to a free exhibition opening reception at the Mullin Gallery, offering an opportunity to engage with local artist Devin Troy Strother and view his work.
“Dancing in the Dark” is a multimedia exhibition dedicated to the work of Los Angeles artist Devin Troy Strother. Spanning two locations, the show highlights Strother’s 15 years of artistic exploration.
The exhibition offers an unprecedented and comprehensive look at his adventurous body of work, including large-scale paintings like “Great Expectations” (the first time being shown in LA) in the spacious Williamson Gallery at Hillside Campus, recent video works presented at the Mullin Gallery at South Campus and installations like “LA Confidential” that also serve as platforms for performances to be staged throughout the run of the exhibition.
