Opening reception for the Claremont Museum of Art’s exhibition “Dee Marcellus Cole and Carnival Seekers” during Art Walk.
Dee Marcellus Cole, a self-proclaimed faux-folk artist inspired by Latin folk traditions, has gathered Carnival Seekers Johnnie Dominguez, Cathy Garcia, Sandy Garcia, John Neiuber, Karen Neiuber, Christian Ornelas a.k.a. Neighbor Kid and Dan Romero to highlight celebration with bright colors, iconic images, and spiritual messages. The exhibition, generously sponsored by Gould Asset Management LLC, will remain on view through November 26, 2017.The museum is open Friday, Saturday and Sunday noon to 4:00 pm.
