Fil and Kevinn Quest have their collaborative debut art opening for one day only on Friday August 22, 2025 at 3110 Gallery in Silver Lake.
The two met in spring while exhibiting at an art show, drawn by the uplifting sense of motion in each other’s work. Quickly learning they share a common drive and vision, a plan to make something together began to take shape.
Drawing from the entirety of their eclectic backgrounds of interest and experiences, they aim to spread the feelings of positivity that flow through them when creating their work — fueled by music and public expression in efforts of breaking cycles of depression through art.
Kevinn’s “cut ups” are rooted in introspection of the central nervous system, while Fil’s “flow” puts his subconscious directly in the driver’s seat. Together, they hope others will take a moment to look inward, discovering a new understanding; through the noise, finding a meaningful way of expressing it into the world around them.
