We invite you to Immigration Celebration Part 1 – a special exhibit and event designed to intrigue, inform and perhaps entice you to acquire a piece of art by an artist with a unique story to tell. Rather than sit and watch them talk, join us for a curatorial overview and gallery walk-through, and learn a bit about the artists – their history, their immigration stories, their techniques, inspirations, and aspirations. Each participating artist will tell us their tale, as we stroll through the gallery (glass of wine in hand) to celebrate their artistic vision and contribution to the LA art world. There are two parts to the exhibit – The Zen Zone, with work that is calming and meditative, featuring Clara Berta, Miguel Osuna, Campbell Laird, and Seda Saar . In The High Octane Room, the work by Olympio, Bert Esenherz, Laurent Proneur and Matteo is bold and dynamic,energizing and invigorating.
Come enjoy paintings, mixed media work, contemporary plexiglass sculpture and a cutting edge video art piece – presented in 8000 square feet of new gallery space, at the Laurent Proneur Gallery, 1229 North Highland Ave, Hollywood, 90038. Free parking available behind the building, enter through the left driveway.
