Corey Helford Gallery is proud to present ‘Under My Spell’, a new solo exhibition by internationally acclaimed Sammarinese artist and illustrator Nicoletta Ceccoli, opening Friday, October 30th in Gallery 3. On view through December 5, the exhibition presents a new body of work from one of the most distinctive voices working at the intersection of illustration, animation, and fine art, exploring desire, fear, emotional dependency, identity, and the fragile boundary between enchantment and captivity. Suspended between vulnerability and strength, wonder and disorientation, her figures inhabit an ambiguous realm where nothing is entirely what it seems—and where the very things that enchant us may also be the ones that hold us captive.
Open to the public and free to attend, ‘Under My Spell’ will debut Friday, October 30th, in Gallery 3 at Corey Helford Gallery, alongside solo shows by Mayuka Yamamoto, titled ‘Where the Quiet Things Are’ in the Main Gallery and Ian Francis, titled ‘Intimacy in a Time of Monsters’ in Gallery 2.
