Join artist Martine Syms; Johanna Burton, director, Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles; and Solveig Nelson, writer and curator of photography and new media, Benton Museum of Art at Pomona College, for a conversation around The Perversion of the Visual, Gretchen Bender’s current exhibition at Sprüth Magers, Los Angeles, on view through August 10. Each participant has engaged with Bender’s work in their past projects and will discuss her legacy in the twenty-first century.
