Start off your Frieze Week by coming to see the US debut of Marina Abramovic’s, the Life at Christie’s Los Angeles Gallery! Previously the piece has only ever been seen at London’s Serpentine Gallery.
Marina’s The Life is the world’s first mixed reality artwork and will go to auction at Christie’s London during Frieze Week 2020. Christie’s partnered with Microsoft by using the their HoloLens 2 headset to power the performance.
It will be available for viewing by appointment only at Christie’s LA Gallery from February 10th – February 15th.
About: A 19 minute performance that will experienced via Microsoft HoloLens 2 mixed reality devices. Marina’s hologram will interact with you and the space in a new wave of technology and art! The piece was created along with production company, Tin Drum.
