Kitty Bungalow Charm School for Wayward Cats, California’s only 100% feral cat rescue, socialization, and adoption facility, is excited to announce the return of their annual BUY ART SAVE KITTENS fundraiser to raise money and awareness of their mission ‒ providing services for Los Angeles’ most vulnerable of felines.
Set to open on August 26th at downtown Los Angeles’ Corey Helford Gallery (CHG), this year’s fundraiser will feature new works from over 40 local and international artists (including legends, groundbreaking graffiti artists, Instagram favorites, and more), with 100% of the proceeds going directly towards securing food and providing medical services to the city’s feral cats.
This year’s fundraiser promises to satisfy the budget and taste of every collector. Participating artists include: Gary Baseman, John Van Hamersveld, Alison Friend, Albert Reyes, Sage Vaughn, Stephanie Inagaki, CATGODS, Mat Crumpton, COLDIE, ATLAS, Xuan Loc Xuan, PRAXIS, Javier Mayoral, PHOBIK, Analy, Marina Yermakova-Timm, Kalon Fowler, Matthew Robinson, FABEZ, Rachael Ferris, JAZIE, JD King, Michael Delahaut, Cats Rule All, and many more.
Open to the public and free of charge, the fundraiser is set to debut on Saturday, August 26th from 7:00 pm – 11:00 pm in CHG’s Gallery 3, alongside a solo show from urban contemporary painter, illustrator, character creator, and comic artist Camilla d’Errico, titled Nurtured by Nature, in the Main Gallery and a solo show by established Los Angeles art scene painter Luke Chueh, titled Peering Through the Darkness, in Gallery 2. All three shows will be on view through September 30th.
