Join us for lively artist-led tours at both CAAM and ICA LA — presentation partners for Nina Chanel Abney: Royal Flush.
At CAAM, artist Lili Bernard will begin the tour at 2pm. At ICA LA, Chelle Barbour will continue the tour at 4pm followed by a light reception to celebrate your double tour achievement.
Nina Chanel Abney’s work refers to such diverse subjects as pop culture, world events, and art history through vibrant and provocative compositions. Bernard and Barbour will examine how those themes relate to American society, including Abney’s painted references to race, sexuality, celebrity culture, and police brutality.
