Art Talks on the River is presenting Artists on the River: Site and Response on Saturday, July 14, 12-2p.m. at the Pavilion in Lewis MacAdams Riverfront Park.

This is the second of four panel discussions this summer.

It is bound to be an exciting conversation.

Moderator Marc Pally is known for curatorial work at Glow, Santa Monica and the LA Biennial.

Panelist Lauren Bon has created seminal art works on the River, including This is Not a Cornfield, and the soon to be installed Bending the River waterwheel.

Panelist David Rosenboom is the composer of Hopscotch. Directed by MacArthur Grant awardee Yuval Sharon, the opera was performed on the streets of LA – and the LA River.

Panelist Beatriz Cortez’s sculpture Tzolk’in is now on view at the Hammer’s Made in LA Biennial, 2018, and on the River at the Bowtie.

Map, and detailed information can be found on Eventbrite.
